| Purpose of the "Sanjokai" |
The Sendai Gender Equal Opportunity Foundation is, together with the citizens of Sendai, striving to make Sendai into a "City of Gender Equality" as rapidly as possible. The sanjokai provides information on a gender-equal society and the empowerment of women so that each and every person can become a leading character in a society where men and women have equal opportunities to succeed in whatever they decide to undertake. We hope that you will join this group so we can work together to create such a society. |
| Annual fee | The annual fee for corporations is 5,000 yen per share and 2,000 yen for individuals. An individual or company can buy any number of shares. The fee is effective for one year from the date of membership. |
| Privileges of Members |
Members will receive copies of the journal "WM" that is published by the Foundation as well as invitations to events sponsored by "L-Park Sendai" or "L-Sola Sendai." For lectures sponsored by the Foundation, members will be given priority status when making reservations and receive discounts on admission fees. |
| Method of Applying for Membership |
Interested parties should apply to the General Affairs and Planning Section of the Sendai Gender Equal Opportunity Foundation (or apply directly to "L-Park Sendai"). Application can also be made by postal transfer. Applicant's name, address and phone number should be written on the postal transfer form and payment submitted to the following account. Account No.: 02260-5-48693 Name of Account: Sendai Gender Equal Opportunity Foundation Charges will not be applied when making the payment. After the fee is received, a membership card will be sent to the applicant. |
