| The crescent-shaped symbol is taken from the crescent moon of the
helmet worn by Date Masamune, founder of the Sendai clan and represents the city
of Sendai. The two overlapping crescent shapes represent collaboration and cooperation
between people as well as the rapid development of the community. |

| Our aim is to strive to achieve a society where everyone can "be
themselves" without regard to gender. Our motto is "Kitto, motto, zutto, watashirashiku,
anatarashiku" which can be loosely translated as "Always be yourself."

| Origin of the names "L-Park Sendai" and the "L-Sola Sendai"
|
The "L" stands for "life, living" and "Park"
stands for "park," a place where people gather. The "sola"
in "L-Sola Sendai" stands for "solar" or the sun.
*The symbol mark, catch phrase and name of the organization
were selected through a public competition. |
